State law requires front windshields to have a 70% VLT.  (Visible Light Transmission), anything darker than this is consider illegal. 

Front Visor Strips: must be above the factory AS-1 line or 4 inches from top.

Exposed electrical wires can get wet during installation due to water traveling down behind the dashboard, although we take the extra precaution and preparation time to cover with towels and towel ropes some damage may still occur.  

Though we strive for perfection in all of our Windshield installations, due to the nature of the product, size and static; some degree of dust contamination and or minor imperfections are present in every application. 

Pre-existing flaws, scratches and metal deposits on the glass will be more noticeable after the application. 

Most cars have thick ceramic dots preventing sometimes the window film from sticking all the way, this results in a whitish looking strip trimming the glass. Typically, this isn’t very noticeable, however some cars have a wide band of dots trimming the center of the windshield. 

 Some Tesla owners have reported burn marks on their rear windows after using the defroster, particularly when the windows are tinted. This issue is thought to be caused by a break in the defroster lines, leading to an arc that damages the tint. Other causes. .
